During July 2025, Pranjal enhanced observability for LLM gateway metrics in the truefoundry/infra-charts repository by extending the JSON schema to record per-request and per-response sizes. This DevOps-focused work enabled more granular monitoring of data transfer volumes and performance, supporting both SLA compliance and capacity planning for data-intensive LLM workloads. Pranjal’s approach emphasized forward-compatible schema design, allowing for future metric expansions without disruption. The implementation leveraged JSON and monitoring best practices to ensure robust data collection. While no major bugs were addressed, the work demonstrated depth in infrastructure monitoring and contributed to ongoing stability improvements within the infra-charts codebase.
