Focused on improving data accuracy, the developer reclassified the '6A_Other-in-total' category from 'Other' to 'Industrial Sector' within the REMIND framework, ensuring more precise alignment for emissions modeling and reporting. This update involved direct modifications to the mappingCEDS2025toREMIND.csv file, leveraging skills in data harmonization and data mapping. The work centered on CSV data manipulation and version-controlled updates, prioritizing data quality improvements over bug fixes. The contribution supported better downstream data governance and more reliable emissions data integration within the project.
