Worked on the openwrt/packages repository, focusing on improving build system reliability and compatibility for OpenWrt package maintenance. Addressed two critical build issues by updating Makefile configurations and refining C/C++ compilation processes. Specifically, resolved a GCC-15 compilation error in the ccrypt package by enforcing the C17 standard, and enabled lsof to compile without the libtirpc dependency, streamlining package builds on modern toolchains. These targeted fixes included corresponding PKG_RELEASE updates and release note documentation, contributing to better release hygiene and reduced technical debt. The work demonstrated a strong command of build system configuration and maintenance within a collaborative open source environment.
