Developed and maintained the Bing Wallpaper Now package for the zed-industries/winget-pkgs repository, focusing on cross-platform desktop application deployment and robust package management. Over two months, delivered features including installation manifests and multi-language localization, supporting both English and Chinese through YAML-based configuration. Enhanced the reliability of Windows package installations by aligning manifests with versioning standards and refining deployment processes. Contributed to multiple versioned releases, co-authoring release notes and strengthening the packaging pipeline for future updates. The work improved localization coverage and ensured smoother, more reliable deployments, laying a foundation for broader user adoption and streamlined maintenance in the Winget ecosystem.
