Worked on the apache/nifi repository to deliver a UI navigation enhancement for the NiFi Registry, implementing a base URL redirect that guides users directly to the correct UI path. This backend feature, developed using Java and web server configuration skills, addressed navigation friction and improved accessibility for first-time and returning users. The solution was linked to NIFI-15173 and submitted through PR #10490, ensuring traceability and alignment with ongoing UI routing improvements. The work focused on backend logic to intercept base URL requests and route them appropriately, supporting smoother onboarding and consistent user experience within the NiFi Registry environment.
