In September 2025, Rchache updated the partitions.json configuration in the smithy-lang/smithy repository to deliver ISO Partitions Dualstack Support, enabling seamless operation across both IPv4 and IPv6 environments. This work focused on configuration management using JSON, reducing the need for manual intervention when deploying dual-stack workloads in ISO partitions. By implementing precise change control through a targeted, single-purpose commit, Rchache ensured that the new dualstack settings integrated smoothly without introducing bugs. The update improved deployment readiness for both cloud and on-premises scenarios, demonstrating careful attention to data management and a methodical approach to infrastructure configuration within the project.
