Worked on stabilizing the Smart Resize functionality in the liguodongiot/transformers repository by addressing a bug that previously allowed images to be resized with incorrect aspect ratios. Focused on refining the resizing logic to ensure both performance and correctness, the work involved implementing a targeted fix and optimizing the underlying image processing pipeline. Enhanced reliability was achieved by expanding unit test coverage and integrating automated tests to prevent future regressions. Leveraged Python and image processing techniques throughout the process, with an emphasis on robust unit testing and continuous integration validation to support dependable deployment in production environments and reduce rendering errors.
