Developed an HDR video stream handling optimization that reduced data transfer and improved playback performance by refactoring stream selection logic, ensuring the correct video stream is chosen based on available streams. This enhancement led to smoother HDR playback and lower bandwidth usage. Additionally, addressed a bug in the download-tracking module by stopping the tracking of downloads once removed from the client, which improved status accuracy and reduced unnecessary processing. Utilized C#, backend development, and software architecture skills to implement and validate these changes.
