Worked on the kubernetes-sigs/kueue repository to enhance cross-platform development workflows by updating the Makefile for macOS ARM64 and non-Linux environments. Addressed compatibility issues by introducing conditional logic to disable Linux-specific SELinux volume flags when running on other operating systems, preventing container execution errors during skills linting. Utilized DevOps practices along with Docker, Makefile, and Shell scripting to implement these changes. The update included new variables for volume flags and security options, improving the reliability of linting processes across different platforms. This work streamlined contributor experience and ensured consistent tooling behavior regardless of the underlying operating system.
