Robert Grassian developed the foundational Feature Management and Experimentation toolset for the harness/mcp-server repository, focusing on enabling discovery and governance of feature flags and experimentation resources. He implemented data transfer objects, client services, and server registrations in Go to standardize API contracts and expose FME definitions, workspaces, environments, and flags through the MCP platform. By integrating Split.io, Robert enabled experimentation workflows and flag-driven release governance, supporting safer feature rollouts and targeted experiments. His work established the core backend infrastructure for feature toggling across environments, demonstrating depth in API integration, backend development, and microservices architecture within a short timeframe.

September 2025: Delivered the foundational Feature Management and Experimentation (FME) toolset for the Harness MCP server, enabling discovery and governance of feature flags and FME resources. Implemented DTOs, client services, and server registrations to expose FME definitions, workspaces, environments, and flags via MCP, and integrated with Split.io for experimentation tooling. This work provides the scaffolding for safer feature releases, targeted experiments, and improved visibility for feature toggling across environments.
