Worked on the Metrolist repository to initiate Bengali localization for the Android application, focusing on expanding accessibility for Bengali-speaking users. Leveraged XML for UI string translations and established a Weblate-based workflow to streamline ongoing localization efforts. Delivered the initial set of Bengali translations, covering 49 out of 358 strings, and documented all progress and processes within the repository. The approach emphasized maintainability and future scalability, laying the groundwork for full language support. This work utilized skills in Android development, localization, and translation, and provided a clear foundation for continued progress toward comprehensive multilingual support in the Metrolist project.
