Worked on the AliceO2Group/AliceO2 repository to implement SAC Writeout Rate Throttling, addressing data path performance by reducing writeout pressure and improving throughput. The technical approach involved adjusting the nTFs_SAC multiplier from 1000 to 10000, effectively decreasing the writeout rate by a factor of ten and enabling faster data availability for downstream analytics. This work focused on performance tuning and system configuration, utilizing Shell scripting to modify commit-based code. No major bugs were reported or fixed during this period, as issues were managed through standard review and testing cycles, resulting in more predictable and efficient data processing pipelines.
