During March 2025, Robert Muenzer enhanced the AliceO2Group/AliceO2 repository by implementing SAC Writeout Rate Throttling, a feature designed to reduce writeout pressure and improve throughput in the SAC data path. He achieved this by adjusting the nTFs_SAC multiplier, effectively decreasing the writeout rate by a factor of ten. This change led to faster data availability and more predictable data pipelines, directly benefiting downstream analytics.
