Worked on the duckduckgo/duckduckgo-locales repository to deliver localization updates supporting multi-language site search and AI chat messaging. The approach involved importing new PO-based localization tokens across multiple languages, ensuring consistent messaging and feature behavior for users worldwide. Focused on internationalization and localization, the work included updating language files to integrate new tokens and messages, which improved coverage and reduced translation drift. No major bugs were addressed during this period, but minor issues were tracked for future resolution. The updates enhanced the i18n pipeline’s readiness for broader rollout, with changes integrated through disciplined Git workflows and QA-ready processes.
