Worked on the guardian/source-apps repository to enhance Android UI testing reliability by updating visual regression test artifacts. Focused on aligning baseline UI screenshots with the current state of components such as PagerProgressBar and ProgressButtons, this effort addressed test flakiness and reduced false positives and negatives in automated regression checks. Utilized skills in UI testing and visual regression testing, leveraging tools and workflows common in Android development. The work stabilized the regression suite, improved release velocity, and increased QA confidence by ensuring that test artifacts accurately reflected the live UI, with careful documentation and changelog updates supporting ongoing maintainability.
