Over a two-month period, contributed to the Metrolist repository by delivering comprehensive Spanish localization for its mobile user interface. Focused on internationalization and translation, the work involved translating over 700 UI strings using XML and managing the process through Weblate to ensure accuracy and consistency. Established a scalable localization workflow, enabling future updates and supporting both standard Spanish and Spanish (US) variants. This approach improved accessibility and usability for Spanish-speaking users, broadening Metrolist’s market reach. The engineering effort emphasized translation management, mobile development, and collaboration within established pipelines, laying a foundation for future multilingual support and streamlined localization updates.
