Worked on the Nextdoor/k8s-charts repository to deliver a feature enabling deep-linking from PagerDuty alerts directly to relevant Grafana Loki pod logs for KubeJobFailed and KubeJobCompletion events. This was achieved by extending Prometheus alert rules with a logs_url annotation and introducing a configurable Grafana URL within Helm values, supported by a helper template for dynamic log query generation. The implementation involved updates to Helm chart templates, documentation, and runbooks, with thorough end-to-end validation against the live Loki datasource. Technologies used included Helm, Kubernetes, and Prometheus, focusing on improving on-call workflows and cross-cluster log visibility for incident response.
