Enhanced the EEZ-Studio livecheck by implementing a regex-based tag matching strategy in Ruby, decoupling version checks from GitHub’s latest-release heuristic and enabling broader tag coverage for more dependable updates. Addressed a version detection bug for Wireless Workbench by switching to a header_match approach, ensuring users consistently receive the latest approved version and reducing support overhead. Applied skills in DevOps, version control, and regex to deliver targeted improvements that streamline cask management and maintain accuracy in automated update workflows.
