Sahasan worked on aligning cluster-logging deployments with OpenShift 4.18 by updating the Cluster Logging Operator catalog channel in the openshift-kni/cnf-features-deploy repository. By changing the ClusterLogSubscription channel from stable-6.0 to stable-6.1, Sahasan ensured that deployments consistently used the correct and updated cluster-logging-operator catalog, addressing compatibility with the latest OpenShift release. This work, implemented using YAML and leveraging DevOps and Kubernetes skills, reduced the risk of deploying outdated operator versions and improved deployment stability. The update focused on enforcing accurate catalog channel selection, resulting in more predictable and reliable cluster-logging deployments for environments running OpenShift 4.18.
