Worked on the vmware/govmomi repository to deliver Namespace Network Configuration Support, enabling automated management of network specifications within Namespace instances. Focused on extending the existing API to support NetworkSpec, this work allowed network configurations to be managed alongside storage and VM service specifications, advancing orchestration parity for multi-tenant environments. The technical approach centered on backend development and API design using Go, with careful attention to commit hygiene and maintainability. By exposing network configuration within the Namespace lifecycle, the changes reduced manual setup and supported policy-driven governance, addressing the need for streamlined, automated network management without introducing new bugs during the cycle.
