Worked on the github/awesome-copilot repository to deliver an AI-powered modernization capability by enhancing the modernize-dotnet plugin. Focused on upgrading the plugin to version 1.0.1152-preview1, the work expanded support for automated .NET application modernization and improved the reliability of upgrade processes. Leveraged skills in .NET modernization, AI integration, and plugin development, with JSON used for configuration and data handling. The enhancement introduced improved upgrade guidance and compatibility checks, reducing the risk of rollbacks and minimizing manual intervention. This contribution enabled teams to modernize .NET applications more efficiently, ensuring access to the latest AI-assisted features within the plugin.
