During January 2025, S. Bendict developed AWS infrastructure monitoring entity definitions for EKS Cluster and AWS Mount Target within the newrelic/entity-definitions repository. By modeling these entities in YAML and configuring daily expiration and alerting, Bendict enhanced observability and lifecycle management for AWS resources. The work leveraged AWS, cloud monitoring, and infrastructure as code skills to enable faster detection and improved governance of infrastructure components. Although no bugs were fixed during this period, the feature expanded monitoring coverage and supported incident response. The project demonstrated depth in entity definition modeling and effective collaboration on a multi-repository observability initiative.
