Developed a Gateway API with custom resource definitions for BackendTLS policies and Gateway classes in the DaoCloud/dce-charts-repackage repository, focusing on enhancing Kubernetes networking and policy-driven TLS management. Leveraged Helm and YAML to deliver a feature that enables flexible gateway class customization and secure, configurable TLS handling for Kubernetes deployments. The implementation maintained backward compatibility with existing charts, reducing migration risks for users. No major bugs were reported or fixed during this period. This work addressed the need for improved security posture and extensibility in Kubernetes environments, providing clear business value for teams requiring adaptable networking solutions.
