Worked on the penpot/penpot repository to deliver Arabic localization and frontend translations, focusing on improving accessibility and usability for Arabic-speaking users. Leveraged frontend development skills and translation management tools, particularly Weblate, to integrate a scalable localization workflow and track translation progress. Utilized PO files to manage and update translation metadata, including fuzzy translations for enhanced context. The work resulted in over 55% translation coverage, laying the foundation for broader international adoption and a more inclusive user experience. Emphasized collaboration with localization resources and established processes to support ongoing internationalization efforts, ensuring maintainable and extensible localization for future development.
