Worked on the Myriad-Dreamin/tinymist repository to improve the reliability and parsing accuracy of math markup, specifically addressing issues with dollar signs in mathematical expressions. Tackled a bug where the parser would incorrectly terminate or render content when encountering a dollar sign, leading to premature parsing of math content. The solution involved refining regular expressions in TypeScript to more accurately determine the end of function calls or property access. Comprehensive tests were added to ensure the fix remained stable and to prevent regressions. This work strengthened the overall content rendering pipeline and increased developer confidence in the parsing logic and test coverage.
