Developed a new Gateway API CLI tool, gwctl, designed to simplify the management and inspection of Gateway API resources within Kubernetes clusters. The tool was implemented in Go and focused on streamlining cluster operations by providing installation and testing workflows. Released as version 0.1.0 in the Homebrew/homebrew-core repository, gwctl enabled standardized tooling and faster operator onboarding through Homebrew packaging. The work demonstrated skills in CLI development, Kubernetes integration, and release engineering, with an emphasis on maintainable workflows and ease of adoption. No major bugs were reported during the period, reflecting a focus on robust initial feature delivery and packaging.
