Worked on the penpot/penpot repository to deliver Brazilian Portuguese translations for the frontend, expanding accessibility and localization for Portuguese-speaking users. Focused on internationalization, the developer utilized Weblate to manage translation workflows and achieved 71.6% coverage by translating 1402 out of 1956 strings. The work involved front end development using JavaScript and Clojure, integrating new translations into the existing codebase to support PT-BR users. This contribution laid a foundation for ongoing localization efforts and improved market reach. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with the primary emphasis on enhancing the user experience through targeted language support.
