During March 2026, Spamik contributed to the matmair/InvenTree repository by developing a feature that enhanced the Stock Location modal to support bulk entries without closing the form after each submission. Spamik implemented this by introducing a keepOpen boolean, refactoring state management with React’s useRef, and extracting the modal’s switch into a reusable component for improved maintainability. The work included comprehensive updates to documentation, changelogs, and test coverage, as well as the removal of unused code to streamline the codebase. This feature, built with React and TypeScript, improved the user workflow and demonstrated thoughtful attention to code quality and collaboration.
