Worked on the AzureAD/microsoft-identity-web repository to enhance DownstreamApi by adding support for custom SAML bearer tokens in HTTP request headers. Addressed compatibility with non-standard header formats by leveraging the TryAddWithoutValidation method for SAML bearer schemes, ensuring broader interoperability for downstream API clients. Developed and integrated a targeted test case to verify this new behavior, reinforcing reliability and future compatibility. Demonstrated expertise in .NET backend development, C#, and API integration, with a focus on secure authentication flows and robust header parsing. The work emphasized test-driven development practices and contributed to improved security and flexibility in authentication scenarios.
