Developed and integrated production-like performance profiling capabilities for the goharbor/harbor repository, focusing on backend observability and diagnostics. Leveraging Go and performance profiling expertise, introduced a configurable pprof server controlled via environment variables, allowing teams to enable or disable profiling endpoints as needed in production-like environments. This addition streamlines monitoring and debugging by providing accessible profiling data, supporting data-driven performance optimization and capacity planning. The implementation emphasized simplicity and configurability, with defaults designed for safe deployment. No major bugs were addressed during this period, as the primary focus remained on delivering robust feature enhancements to support ongoing optimization efforts.
