Worked on the lightdash/lightdash repository to enhance the user experience during destructive actions by introducing a loading state for the Space deletion flow. Developed a user-facing progress indicator by implementing an isLoading prop in both DeleteSpaceModal and SpaceModal components, using React and TypeScript. This approach prevented duplicate submissions and provided clear feedback to users throughout the deletion process, aligning the deletion flow with existing UI patterns for consistency. The work focused on frontend development, leveraging JavaScript and TypeScript to improve reliability and transparency, ultimately reducing user uncertainty and potential errors during critical operations without introducing new bug fixes in this period.
