Addressed a bug in the build artifact handling by refining the logic to match only the root build directory, which prevented accidental exclusion of subdirectories and improved overall build reliability. Updated the .gitignore configuration to better align with Debian packaging standards and to allow files already present in the repository, reducing workflow friction. Emphasized traceability by ensuring clear commit authorship and collaboration.
