Worked on optimizing CI/CD workflows for the powerhome/playbook repository by upgrading the ci-kubed system to version 10.0.0. This involved enabling direct BuildkitCache volume mounting and introducing new build parameters to improve cache management and build reproducibility. Developed a custom builder image that combined Docker and BuildKit, resulting in faster and more deterministic builds. Legacy pipeline parameters were decommissioned to streamline configuration and reduce complexity. Using Dockerfile and Groovy, along with skills in Continuous Integration and Jenkins, the work led to more stable CI builds, accelerated pull request validation, and enhanced release readiness through improved caching and parameterization.
