Worked on the penpot/penpot repository to deliver Chinese (Simplified Han) frontend localization, focusing on authentication, registration fields, product design labels, and descriptive content about Penpot’s purpose. Utilized internationalization and localization skills to add and update PO language files, ensuring that key user interface areas were accessible to Chinese-speaking users. The approach involved clear, traceable commit messages and adherence to established i18n practices, resulting in improved onboarding and usability for a broader audience. No bug fixes were recorded during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature development to enhance accessibility and support Penpot’s international user base through targeted localization.
