In April 2025, Schrimp developed the Workstation Events JSON Schema for the extenda/hiiretail-json-schema-registry repository, focusing on standardizing event data and enforcing consistent structure and types. Leveraging JSON and schema definition skills, Schrimp established a centralized schema entry to improve data validation and ensure reliable integration with downstream systems. The technical approach emphasized traceable changes through Git, enabling transparent schema evolution and governance. By prioritizing data modeling and validation, Schrimp laid the foundation for automated schema testing in CI/CD pipelines. The work addressed data quality at ingestion, facilitating easier onboarding for consumers and supporting robust, contract-driven data exchange.
