Worked on enhancing the activepieces/activepieces repository by developing a new feature for Sendgrid integration, enabling support for email attachments and configurable data residency controls. This addition allows users to attach files to emails sent via Sendgrid and specify where their data is stored, addressing regulatory and data governance requirements. The implementation involved full stack development using TypeScript and Node, with a focus on robust API integration. Collaboration was emphasized through co-authored contributions, facilitating cross-team input and efficient delivery. The work demonstrates a targeted approach to expanding platform capabilities while ensuring compliance and flexibility for users managing sensitive email data.
