During June 2024, contributed to the FFmpeg/FFmpeg repository by developing and delivering the WebP XMP Metadata Export feature. This work focused on enabling the export of XMP metadata from WebP images, thereby improving metadata handling and supporting better asset management and interoperability within multimedia pipelines. The implementation was carried out in C within the avcodec/webp component, leveraging expertise in multimedia processing and metadata standards. The contribution followed the formal code review and sign-off process, ensuring code quality and maintainability. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on expanding standardized metadata export capabilities for WebP assets.
