Tijmen Leguijt developed an inventory management enhancement for the labd/commercetools-node-mock repository, focusing on the new removeQuantity action for inventory entries. Using TypeScript and leveraging skills in API and backend development, Tijmen implemented logic to safely subtract stock quantities while enforcing non-negative inventory levels. The solution included comprehensive unit tests to validate correct behavior and prevent negative stock, improving the reliability of inventory simulations for downstream integrations. Documentation and changesets were updated to reflect the new functionality, ensuring clarity for other developers. This work enhanced test fidelity and supported more accurate merchant testing and integration validation within the project.
