Developed and delivered the Schlage Door Code Management feature for the cdce8p/ha-core repository, focusing on enhancing access control and operational efficiency. The work centered on implementing backend services in Python to enable adding, deleting, and retrieving door codes, supporting secure user provisioning and reducing manual intervention. Leveraging skills in API development, service integration, and unit testing, the developer ensured a robust end-to-end provisioning workflow that aligns with security requirements. The code was collaboratively reviewed and committed with proper sign-off, reflecting attention to quality and maintainability. This contribution addressed a targeted need for improved lock access management within the project.
