Worked on the mamedev/mame repository to address a bug in the SDL build configuration, focusing on correcting the quoting of the INI_PATH variable within Lua-based configuration scripts. By refining how paths were interpreted in sdl_cfg.lua and sdl3_cfg.lua, the developer improved the reliability of cross-platform builds and enhanced the stability of continuous integration workflows. The technical approach involved Lua scripting for build system configuration and close attention to platform-specific path handling. This work demonstrated skills in build systems, configuration management, and collaborative debugging, contributing to a more robust and maintainable build process for the project during the development period.
