Worked on the OpenHands/OpenHands repository to enhance backend observability by implementing error-level logging for 4xx HTTP responses within the AutomationEventService. This change elevated failed automation event deliveries from warnings to errors in the logs, supporting the enterprise logging initiative and enabling faster detection and triage of delivery issues. The update was developed using Python and incorporated robust unit testing with pytest to ensure regression safety and maintain code quality. Documentation was updated to reflect the new behavior, and the work was aligned with code review standards, demonstrating a methodical approach to feature delivery and a focus on maintainable backend development practices.
