Worked on the GoogleCloudPlatform/PerfKitBenchmarker repository to address a critical issue in the Cloud Bigtable YCSB benchmark, focusing on ensuring accurate performance testing. Using Python and leveraging expertise in benchmarking and performance testing, updated the benchmark’s configuration to correctly set the googlebigtable2.data-endpoint by modifying the _CommonArgs keyword arguments. This change aligned the benchmark with the updated YCSB driver, allowing tests to target the intended data endpoint and improving the reliability of performance measurements. Validated the fix through end-to-end benchmark runs, enhancing reproducibility and supporting more accurate capacity planning and vendor evaluation for cloud infrastructure scenarios.
