Worked on maintaining and stabilizing the truemark/autoalarm repository, focusing on aligning the service with updated requirements by reverting previous changes related to DynamoDB monitoring tags. Used AWS and TypeScript to carefully remove tag-based configurations while ensuring that existing alarm workflows and monitoring pipelines remained unaffected. Emphasized service reliability by conducting thorough regression checks and updating internal documentation to detail the rollback process. The work prioritized preserving essential monitoring behavior in a serverless architecture, addressing a single bug fix without introducing new features. This approach maintained operational integrity and ensured that monitoring and alarm management continued to function as intended.
