W. Walker developed Kubernetes-native infrastructure for Universal Data Service (UDS) by implementing Exemption and Package Custom Resource Definitions within the IFTTT/CRDs-catalog repository. Using YAML and leveraging expertise in Kubernetes and CRDs, Walker established the uds.dev API group to enable declarative management of UDS configurations and packages. This work created the foundational API layer necessary for automated provisioning and policy-driven governance of UDS resources, supporting future automation and integration efforts. The engineering focused on extensibility and maintainability, ensuring that UDS resources could be managed natively within Kubernetes environments. The contribution demonstrated depth in Kubernetes API design and CRD implementation.
