During this period, contributed to the Homebrew/homebrew-core repository by developing and integrating the t2sz formula, which introduces a Seekable ZSTD Tar Archive Tool for efficient random access within large tar archives. The work focused on end-to-end packaging, including formula creation, versioning, and repository integration, leveraging skills in Homebrew formula development, CMake, and file compression. By enabling seekable ZSTD tar archives, the contribution improved data portability and performance for users managing substantial archive files. The implementation was carried out in Ruby, emphasizing packaging automation and version-controlled releases, and expanded Homebrew-core’s capabilities without addressing major bug fixes during the month.
