Worked on improving the reliability of the Chdbits Indexer login flow within the Jackett/Jackett repository, focusing on reducing downtime in automated indexing pipelines. Addressed a persistent login issue by enhancing error handling, adding selectors for both localized and English error responses, and standardizing the user-agent header in login requests. This targeted fix, implemented using YAML and leveraging configuration management and web scraping skills, resulted in a higher login success rate and fewer manual interventions. The work contributed to smoother automation and reduced support tickets, demonstrating a methodical approach to stabilizing critical infrastructure in a production web scraping environment.
