Worked on deployment configuration maintainability for the searxng/searxng repository, focusing on improving clarity and reducing potential confusion for operators. Delivered a cleanup of the Uwsgi deployment configuration by removing an outdated commented line, ensuring the configuration file more accurately reflected current deployment practices. This change, implemented using INI syntax and configuration management principles, did not alter any functional behavior but reinforced best practices for future updates. The approach emphasized clear documentation and git hygiene, making the configuration easier to understand and maintain. The work enhanced deployment readiness and set a foundation for smoother configuration changes going forward.
