Developed and integrated a privacy-focused feature for the openwrt/packages repository by adding the DisableViaHeader option to Tinyproxy, enabling stealth mode operation that omits the Via header from proxied requests. This enhancement addressed privacy concerns for OpenWrt deployments by preventing header leakage and aligning with upstream proxy behavior. The work involved low-level proxy configuration, system administration, and packaging integration, utilizing Shell scripting and Makefile for implementation and workflow automation. The contribution followed Git best practices, including a Signed-off-by line, and ensured the feature was audit-friendly and compliant with OpenWrt standards. No major bugs were addressed during this period.
