Worked on enhancing Grafana’s alerting system by adding support for AWS and Azure Managed Prometheus data sources within the alerting rule conversion flow. This feature, delivered in the grafana/grafana repository, centralized validation logic to improve consistency and reliability for cloud-native workloads. The approach reduced manual configuration and validation steps for users importing alerting rules, aligning with modern data source management strategies. Leveraged Go for backend development, focusing on API integration and system design to ensure seamless rule imports for managed Prometheus services. No bug fixes were recorded during this period, with efforts concentrated on delivering robust new feature functionality.
