Worked on the confluentinc/cli repository to deliver Server-Sent Events (SSE) endpoint support for MCP_SERVER connections, enabling more flexible streaming integration with Flink. Developed an optional 'sse-endpoint' configuration flag and updated the CLI to support this parameter in connection workflows. Enhanced internal secret mapping and expanded test fixtures to ensure robust handling of the new SSE configuration. Focused on CLI development and configuration management using Go, the work improved the scalability and adaptability of MCP_SERVER and Flink integrations. The changes addressed evolving requirements for streaming data paths, resulting in a more configurable and testable command-line interface experience.
