Worked on the harness/mcp-server repository to deliver two user-facing features focused on improving security triage and policy guidance. Developed a backend integration for a new filters API, enabling users to filter security issues by target and scanner names, with backend ID mapping for precise triage. Enhanced the exemption approval workflow by clarifying scope hierarchy and usage guidance, reducing misinterpretations during exemption promotions. Utilized Go for backend development and API design, ensuring seamless integration and clear user experience. The work accelerated issue resolution, reduced configuration errors, and strengthened governance by making exemption processes more transparent and backend systems more robust.
